The Block of the Month for August is the Oh Suzanna Block. Quilters are invited to make this block to bring to the August 16, 2023, General Meeting.
The color profile of this block is solid white for the corners, solid white and solid blue for the half-square triangles, combined with solid blue and blue and yellows prints. The unfinished size of this block is 12-1/2″ and the finished size when placed in a quilt will be 12″.
Hint: You may want to cut the HST’s a bit oversized (I cut them to 4″ instead of 3-7/8″) then trimmed to 3-1/2″.

Following the suggested color profile allows for cohesiveness when the winner of the blocks assembles them in a quilt.
And the blocks switched, at the bottom is the intentional design element?
