About TVQG

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Tualatin Valley Quilt Guild is to promote good fellowship among people interested in the art of quilting. Our goals are to preserve the tradition, culture, and history of quilting, and to promote the knowledge and understanding of all aspects of quilting by enjoying and appreciating others’ work rather than judging it.

 About TVQG

Tualatin Valley Quilt Guild is a group of quilters, beginners to advanced, who are interested in learning more about the art of quilting. We meet in King City, Oregon, and attract members from the Portland Metro and surrounding areas. Monthly meetings include a speaker or quilting-related program, door prizes, and drawings to win a selection of Fat Quarters, and blocks made by our members featuring the current Block of the Month pattern. Each meeting concludes with a Show and Tell segment which offers quilters the opportunity to present quilted items.

For more information about our guild please email TVQG.ContactUs@gmail.com.

To plan the guild’s activities and handle administrative matters TVQG Board of Directors meetings are scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month but may be canceled at the President’s discretion. TVQG’s Board of Directors includes both TVQG’s elected officers and appointed committee chairpersons.  All guild members are invited to attend any board meeting.
